Until 7 August - Natural History Museum - Nature Live "Inspired" season - Find out what motivated NHM scientists to pursue a career in natural history in this season of free talks.
AND The Science Brains Quiz on Mondays 9 Aug, 13 Sept, 11 Oct, 8 Nov and 13 Dec at 2.30pm How much do you really know about the famous faces behind the most well-known scientific discoveries? Battle it out in the Attenborough Studio each month in celebration of the Royal Society's 350th anniversary.

13 September - Our buildings, our neighbourhoods, our cities? Open City-Royal Society panel discussion at the Royal Society.
18-19 September - Open House Weekend at the Royal Society and at venues across London. This year's Open House Weekend includes a 350th anniversary "Discover science through architecture" theme.
20 September, 6.30pm - Lecture by Professor Brian Cox at the British Library, presented by Benjamin Franklin House and the Eccles Centre for American Studies. - THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Friday 1st October; Thursdays 7th October - 25 November, 7 - 9pm - Science and the Maritime Nation: 350 years of the Royal Society and the Royal Navy - A nine-week lecture season at the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Society.
