As a contribution to the International Year of Biodiversity, on 13-14 January 2010, the Royal Society hosted a two-day InterAcademy Panel (IAP) conference on ‘Integrating ecosystem services into biodiversity management’ as part of the IAP General Assembly. .
The conference was attended by representatives of around 100 of the world’s science academies along with other science and policy experts. The participants of the conference produced a communiqué including conclusions and recommendations of the conference.
