Judith Hann and her husband John Exelby both worked in newspapers before
moving into radio and television. They offer a unique blend of
knowledge and experience from both sides of the camera and run their own
media training company, the Media Advantage, from a converted barn at
their home in the Cotswolds.
John was a senior executive in BBC TV News before leaving to concentrate on consultancy at home and abroad. He was an adviser to the South African Broadcasting Corporation in the country's first democratic general election and has worked with broadcasters in countries in the former Soviet bloc.
At the BBC he was news editor for five years and then moved into production, being in charge of the BBC's main news programmes. He was also co-founder of BBC World Service TV News, now at the core of BBC World.
