The Royal Society has responded to the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) consultation on public access to federally funded research.
The issue of open access, in general, of which this consultation is a significant part is of critical importance to the future development of scholarly communication and we believe it is essential to consult as widely as possible before preparing any legislation.
