The Royal Society works with teachers, schools and colleges to help promote science and mathematics both in and out of the classroom. We aim to inspire young people and help get them interested and engaged in science and mathematics.

To achieve this, we provide many different opportunities to get involved.

    • The Partnership Grants scheme offers funding for schools who, through working in partnership with scientists and engineers, develop and deliver exciting and creative projects to engage young people with science.
    • The Associate Schools scheme is a network of schools throughout the London region. Benefits of this pilot scheme include assisted application for a Partnership Grant, priority booking to the Summer Science Exhibition and other special events that the Royal Society has to offer.
    • Support to other initiatives like the Nuffield Bursaries.
    • A Good Practice Guide to being a successful role model.
