Science in Action

More than 75% of our annual expenditure is devoted to grant and fellowship schemes. The Society currently supports nearly 600 leading scientists working in the UK as Research Fellows, including 18 of the worlds most distinguished researchers as Research Professors, 4 of whom are Nobel Laureates.

It would be impossible to include them all – but to demonstrate the practical support we are already giving to scientists, we have included some examples.
