How will my donation be recognised?

The Royal Society Enterprise Fund will be capitalised by philanthropic donations from visionary leaders who seek to support applied science and innovation in the UK. Lead gifts of £1 million and higher are sought in the first round. Lead donors will become members of the prestigious Royal Society President's Circle, joining like-minded leaders who have made major benefactions to the 350th Anniversary Campaign. Members are invited to special events and activities.

Although Presidents Circle Members receive no financial returns for their contribution, the following benefits will be open to Enterprise Fund donors:

  • A window on innovative research and technology
  • Bespoke naming opportunities.
  • Involvement in Royal Society Enterprise Fund Advisory Network
  • Bespoke reports on companies and technologies receiving investments
  • Forums and meetings with scientists working on innovative research
  • Unique events at the Royal Society with leading scientists and other members of the President’s circle
  • Special invitations to 350th Anniversary events and programmes
