e-GAP

The majority of the Royal Society's grant application, processing and payment systems are automated. The original Electronic Grant Application and Processing system (e-GAP) was launched in December 2002 and in June 2008, the new and improved e-GAP2 was launched.

e-GAP² is used to administer, monitor, evaluate and report on all aspects of grants making.  This new system builds on the success of our earlier pioneering system, taking into account the feedback we received from applicants, panel members and referees.

The site is intended to be:

• platform independent
• quick to download
• quick to render
• browser independent
