Chemistry is central to everything you do in your life. So much so, that we take it for granted and often forget about it. This talk, through a series of short demonstrations aims to convey the major themes that underpin the wonder of chemistry. Dr Stephen Liddle is a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the Chemistry Department, University of Nottingham; his current research focuses on increasing our knowledge of Uranium, its possible uses and wider applications.

Attending the event

This event is free to attend and open to all. No tickets are required. Doors open at 6pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
