Discuss with Professor Liane Benning how extremophiles, organisms adapted to live in extreme conditions, and their survival adaptations are being used to inform the search for extra-terrestrial life.

Professor Liane Benning is Professor of Experimental Biogeochemistry at University of Leeds. Her research investigates the biochemical signals of bacteria and fungus in extreme environments.
