The exhibits are open throughout the exhibition opening times. We also have a range of talks, presentations and other exhibition extras lined up, including:
Tuesday to Friday, various times, and also available to watch online: Particle physics and the mysteries of the early Universe, an interactive presentation with Dr Cristina Lazzeroni, a Royal Society University Research Fellow from the University of Birmingham. Suitable for age 16+
- Tuesday to Friday, 1pm: Lunchtime talks. Now available to watch online. Hear one of the exhibitors talk about their research. These 20 minute talks give you the chance to hear more about today’s cutting edge research. Suitable for age 16+
- Saturday: Experiment and explore family-friendly workshops. Come and take part in our family-friendly workshops on Saturday morning and afternoon to learn more about the science around us. Suitable for age 7+
- Throughout the exhibition: Testtube TV. What’s your favourite scientific discovery? What do you think will be on show at the Summer Science Exhibition in 2050? During the public opening times, Testtube TV asked visitors their opinions on issues relating to the exhibits on show. See what they had to say. Suitable for age 16+
