    Professor Robert Hinde CBE FBA FRS

    Robert Hinde was formerly a Royal Research Professor and Master of St. John's College, Cambridge. He has been involved in research on the behaviour of birds, monkeys, apes and on the human mother-child relationship.

    Recently he has written about the sources and nature of religion and morality as aspects of human culture that are derived from pan-cultural human psychological characteristics.
