Professor Tim Palmer FRS

Professor Tim Palmer is a Royal Society 2010 Anniversary Research Professor at Oxford University, and Head of the Probability Forecast Division at the European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts, based in Reading.

Tim's research is focussed on the dynamics and predictability of weather and climate, and he has pioneered the development of techniques to quantify flow-dependent uncertainty in weather and climate forecasts.
