In issuing our calls for evidence, we indicated that we intended to make evidence received publicly available unless the author concerned asked us to keep the evidence confidential. We have done this by placing it on the Society's website and by putting it onto the CD-ROM enclosed with this report. For practical reasons we have excluded from the website and CD-ROM material that has already been published elsewhere (since it is already publicly available), and particularly long submissions (where we have included sufficient material to allow readers to judge whether they wish to see the remainder, and information on where it can be found). The following is a list of the individuals and organisations gave formal evidence to the inquiry, in writing (W) and/or orally (O). The submissions, of course, represent the views of their authors and not necessarily the views of the Royal Society. The Royal Society is most grateful to those who assisted the inquiry by providing evidence. Click below for the relevant individual or organisation: Individuals
Please note: In cases where more than one piece of evidence, written or oral, has been submitted the links have been numbered as follows: W1, W2 etc. or O1, O2 etc. The numbering system is for ease of use only and bears no connection to the importance of the document. Unless otherwise indicated, all documents are in pdf format. To download the latest version of the free reader go to www.adobe.com |
