    A new manifestation of the celebrated “Mollow triplet”, one of the fundamental spectral shapes of light-matter interaction, from Dr Elena del Valle, Royal Society Newton International Fellow, School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Southampton. The triplet, as found by Mollow, emerges in the light emitted by an atom when excited by a laser. The depicted triplet is the counterpart emission from an atom when excited incoherently inside a cavity.
