Partnership GrantsDo you have a good idea for bringing science alive in schools, but need some funding to make it happen? The latest round of Partnership Grants has now closed. The next round will open in September 2009, contact us for more information.
The scheme now offers up to £3000 to support teachers, scientists and engineers like you in working together to inspire young people. Fantastic projects can be created by partnerships like these, allowing teachers to increase their scientific knowledge and giving scientists and engineers the chance to develop their communication skills and engage with enquiring young minds. Perhaps most importantly, these projects give school students a taste of science and engineering today, and their relevance for society. All across the UK there are primary and secondary schools benefiting from projects funded by the Partnership Grants scheme. Follow the links at the side to find out more about the scheme and how we can help you, or to take a look at some case studies of projects funded by the scheme.
Featured projectWe are adding a number of new case studies selected from our most recent projects, to show you what other schools are doing and help you develop your own ideas for a project. Currently, our featured project is Smashing Particles! - Let's celebrate the LHC
