Stem Cell Research Committee: Stem cell research

20 June 2001The Royal Society issued two documents on the subject of stem cell research in 2000: Therapeutic Cloning and Stem Cell Research and Therapeutic Cloning: an update.

This further update has been prepared in response to the inquiry by the House of Lords Ad Hoc Committee on stem cell research and specifically addresses the questions set out in the call for evidence, it should be read in conjunction with the other two publications on the subject which are also available through the Royal Society's website.
