Partnership Grants Allocating Panel

The Partnership Grants Allocating Panel oversees the Partnership Grants Scheme, which is aimed at teachers of age 5 to 18 students. The scheme aims to engage students in real-world research in STEM subjects, improve perceptions of those working in STEM professions, and develop key skills not ordinarily acquired in the classroom. Schools can apply for up to £3,000 for the purchase of equipment to complete their projects which can take anything from a term to several years to complete. There is an online review application process which takes place three times per year with short online review meetings after each period. There is also a Panel strategy meeting once a year. Other optional opportunities to be involved in the scheme are available and the administration of the scheme is undertaken by the Schools Engagement team.
