The Partnership Grants Allocating Panel oversees the Partnership Grants Scheme, which is aimed at teachers of age 5 to 18 students. The scheme aims to engage students in real-world research in STEM subjects, improve perceptions of those working in STEM professions, and develop key skills not ordinarily acquired in the classroom. Schools can apply for up to £3000 for the purchase of equipment to complete their projects which can take anything from a month to several years to complete. The Panel meet twice per year. There is an online judging process, three times a year, and other optional opportunities to be involved in the scheme. The administration of the scheme is undertaken by the Schools Engagement team.
