CaSE Science and Engineering Debate

CaSE Science and Engineering Debate hosted by the Royal Society.

With less than two years until the 2015 General Election, the Campaign for Science & Engineering (CaSE) is bringing together the science spokespeople from the three main Westminster parties, including the newly-appointed Shadow Science Minister, to debate the future direction of science and engineering in the UK.

David Willetts MP (Conservative) Universities and Science Minister

Julian Huppert MP (Liberal Democrat), Former research scientist

Liam Byrne MP (Labour), Shadow Universities, Science and Skills Minister

The panellists will be responding to questions from the audience on a range of issues, including research funding, education, innovation, and scientific advice in government.

Places at this event are now very limited (for last minute availability, see here), but the Royal Society will be webcasting the event live from 8pm on Wednesday, and you can follow the debate on Twitter at #casedebate.
