Coronavirus (COVID-19): Extended deadline for Newton International Fellowship and International Collaboration Award open calls

The Royal Society continues to monitor progress and follow the latest government advice in forming our responses to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

In this time of uncertainty, it is important to us that the science community still has access to funding, and as such our grant rounds will remain open for applications.  

We understand that with organisations closed and new working from home arrangements, applicants may not be able to meet the current deadlines for our Newton International Fellowship call (Thursday 26 March) and our International Collaboration Award call (Thursday 2 April).

We will therefore be extending the deadline for both Newton International Fellowships and International Collaboration Awards as follows:

Newton International Fellowship extended deadline: Wednesday 8 April 3pm (BST)

International Collaboration Awards extended deadline: Tuesday 7 April 3pm (BST)
