What happens after submission?
Following the close of entries, applications are sent to the Local Heroes Allocating Panel, who solely make grant decisions. You should hear the outcome of your application within two months of the close of applications, so please ensure your activity is not due to start before this date.
If your application is successful, you will be sent a grant claim form, and a Local Heroes agreement form. Once we have received these completed and signed forms, your institution will receive the money by bank transfer within 28 days.
