Student conference 2022

The Royal Society’s student conference is an annual celebration of projects undertaken through the Society’s Partnership Grants scheme, including Tomorrow's climate scientists. In 2022 the conference moved into an online format to allow schools from the 2019 and 2020 grant rounds to celebrate their work over the past few years.

The student conference took place in early 2022 and was supported by The Goldsmiths' Company Charity. It contained sessions featuring projects from secondary schools across the UK and a daily primary showcase, highlighting projects undertaken by younger students. You can download a summary of project abstracts from all the schools who took part in the sessions on the 8 - 9 February here: Student conference 2022 - project abstract summary (PDF)

The primary showcase, which was a new feature of the conference, included student presentations from the following schools: Broughton Primary School, Earlsdon Primary School, Heath Mount School, Modbury Primary School, St Gregory's RC Primary School and St Joseph's School.

The following posters give a more detailed summary of all the secondary level projects presented during the conference. Please click on the boxes below to see the PDF of each poster and to zoom in to the detail, or use the list of project titles below.
