Andy Wales is a global managing director at consultancy Accenture where leads new sustainability solutions and the embedding of sustainability into all of Accenture's services. He is also a non-exec director at Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor, who have helped 30m+ people get access to clean water and sanitation across 12 emerging market cities. He is a former board committee member / senior advisor to WWF UK, Sainsbury's, the Global Innovation Fund, Mayor of London, and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.


Andy believes in driving growth through (genuinely) purpose led business strategy and has done so across telecoms and tech (BT), FMCG (ABInBev and SABMiller), utilities (Severn Trent) and manufacturing (Interface Inc). He transforms businesses by sharpening and energising the purpose and strategy, integrating sustainability ambitions and goals into core business metrics, customer communications and brand campaigns, culture and employee engagement and the investor proposition. Andy works across climate, responsible tech, entrepreneurship and digital skills, water scarcity and circular economy. He is also a 'tech for good' angel investor.
