Research summary

My research aims to understand the biological causes and consequences of quantitative variation in wild populations. In particular, I seek to understand how individuals adjust to changing environments, where change is measured over small temporal and spatial scales. I tackle these questions using work on avian model systems, with current focus on the maintenance of synchrony in timing across trophic levels, and on the diffusion of information through social networks and space.
