Design and synthesis of monomeric species and initiators and their application to the synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), including MIP-based nanomaterials for applications in sensors and diagnostic assays. The application of novel conjugated polymer architectures to the construction of sensors and nanomaterials. Synthesis of materials based on dormant radical technology.
