Research summary

My research centres on multiplicative chaos theory, which involves random distributions whose densities can be written as a product of independent and identically distributed random variables. These distributions appear naturally in nature and science, for example in turbulence, internet traffic, human heart beats and rainfall. The geometric properties of such distributions are central objects of study both from the mathematical and applications points of view. Of particular interest are the local dimensions of these distributions, which give information on their local concentration and scaling properties.
