Professor Yong-Sheng Hu

Research Fellow

Queen Mary, University of London

Research summary

I am currently working on advanced materials and technologies for long-life grid-scale stationary batteries, particularly on sodium based rechargeable batteries. My research work focuses on exploring new cathode/anode materials and unraveling the Na storage mechanism. I also collaborate with many international renowned research groups. For example, I work together with Prof. Magdalena Titirici from the Queen Mary University of London on the fundamental understanding of Na storage mechanism in hard carbon anode materials.
