Did life come from outer space?

Event

Location

The Royal Society, London, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG

Overview

We’re yet to prove whether there’s intelligent life in the cosmos, but is there a possibility that life on earth may have started out on another planet?

Did life come from space?

Join astrobiologist and Royal Society Research Fellow Dr Zita Martins in this Cafe Scientifique to discover how meteorites and their collisions could hold the key to the origins of life and explore what this research could mean for life on other planets.

What is a Café Scientifique?

A Café Scientifique is an informal dialogue-based event with a scientist. A short talk by the speaker is followed by audience questions and an open discussion.
