Rob Young is Professor of Quantum Information Processing and is the Director of Lancaster University’s Quantum Technology Centre. He has recently invented a new form of random number generator whose output is based on quantum physics, which is arguably the only true source of randomness in existence.
He and Bazin, designer of Random Revolution, will discuss future applications of his work to the important challenge of keeping our digital communications and transactions encrypted and secure.
