In October 1843 a package of blue and white photographs was delivered to the Royal Society by botanist Mrs Anna Atkins. Anna’s cyanotype images, combining botany with photochemistry, became one of the most treasured items in the Royal Society Library and Archives collection and led to her being considered the first female photographer. Now you have a chance to create them too!
