Overview

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2022

There is much more to sound than just listening to music or complaining about noise. Even in a world dominated by visual technologies.

In this workshop, facilitated by researchers from the Aurora Project at Sussex University, you will be able to interact with some innovative acoustic devices. You will be able to see sound, touch sound, make things levitate using sound, and experience innovative speakers and acoustic rainbows.

Drop-in activity – these activities run continuously and you can drop in at any time. Please note if the venue is at capacity you may have to wait.
