Academic freedom in times of change
Join us for Cara's annual Science and Civilisation lecture with Maria Leptin, as she discusses Academic freedom in times of change.
The Royal Society and the Council for At-Risk Academics (Cara) are pleased to announce Professor Maria Leptin as the keynote speaker for this year's Science and Civilisation lecture. Professor Leptin is the serving President of the European Research Council, and will focus her talk on what academic freedom means in today's world of constant change and heightened pressures.
The session will include a Q&A and will be followed by a drinks reception.
