Privacy Enhancing Technologies: Terms of reference

This project has been looking into the role of technologies in enabling data analysis and extracting value whilst preserving personal or sensitive information.

The aims of the project are to explore the interplay between the following questions:

• What are the ethical and social issues at stake? 
• What is mathematically possible and what is technically feasible? 
• What business models and incentive systems can deliver these technologies?
