The event enabled members of the WPNM steering groups to access independent scientific advice before they met to continue policy discussions on promoting international co-operation on research on the human health and environmental safety of manufactured nanomaterials
Almost 40 OECD participants benefited from the presentations and discussions. The international experts that attended the event were funded by the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, RSC: the Academies of the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences of Canada and the Science Council of Japan.
