Baroness McGregor Smith is undertaking a review of the Issues Faced by Businesses in Developing Black and Minority Ethnic Talent

Professor Uta Frith, Chair of the Royal Society's Diversity Committee, has written to Baroness McGregor Smith to highlight specific issues for developing black and minority ethnic talent in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM). She highlights the importance of addressing these issues as part of the review, as individuals with STEMM skills represent a vital part of the UK’s business workforce.
