Consultation response: Primary Assessment in England

The Royal Society has responded to a Department for Education consultation to welcome proposals to provide greater stability and set direction for the long-term system of primary assessment.

The Society's response makes recommendations in a number of areas including baseline assessment and the role of problem solving and reasoning in reducing the attainment gap.
