The Royal Society has responded to a call for evidence issued by HM Treasury's Review on the Economics of Biodiversity led by Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta FRS FBA.
This response draws on a number of previously published reports, including 'Resilience to Extreme Weather', 'Greenhouse Gas Removal' and 'Climate Change and Ecosystems.'
In addition, the ongoing Living Landscapes programme is currently exploring related topics around the long-term future of UK land use.
