Targeting Formyl Peptide Receptors to Promote Resolution Following Cerebral Ischaemia Reperfusion Injury in Sickle Cell Disease

 

Professor Felicity Gavins's research aims to reduce inflammation in the brain following a stroke, in order to limit cell death and contribute towards an improved recovery for the brain. Felicity investigates a receptor found on certain immune cells as a target for resolving inflammation.
