Coronavirus (Covid-19) update
Following careful consideration of the latest Government advice about the current course of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the Royal Society has made the decision to implement a closure of its buildings to conferencing clients up until at least 4 January 2021. That date will be kept under review, subject to further guidance from Government.
We have taken this decision in the best interests of our conferencing clients and staff. Should you wish to discuss an event after that date or you have an event already booked with us please contact the venue hire team.
A beautiful, historic location for venue hire in central London
The Royal Society is situated in an ideal, central London location overlooking the Mall and St James’s Park and close to many transport links. With 12 rooms available for venue hire, our central London location is ideal for hosting conferences, board meetings, training events, seminars, lectures, receptions and dinners. We can accommodate events for between 10 to 800 guests.
Our aim is to ensure that your event is delivered to the highest standards. Our conferencing team will work with you to plan and manage your event so that you can be confident that your event will run smoothly and that your guests will have an enjoyable experience.
Each of our elegant meeting rooms has natural daylight, air conditioning and WiFi. All venue hire space in the Royal Society is equipped with modern AV equipment and there is an on-site team to provide technical support if you need it.
Our conferencing service is recognised for our outstanding fine dining catering options, provided by our dedicated catering partners, CH&CO. We look forward to welcoming you to the Royal Society.
