We have new dates for the following training courses, aimed at scientific researchers with between 3 and 8 years post-PhD experience. Travel expenses and course fee are covered by the Royal Society for holders of University Research Fellowships, Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowships, Sir Henry Dale Fellowships, Newton International Fellowships and Industry Fellowships.
Communicating your research - for those who want to learn to effectively present their research.
Networking and promoting yourself - for those who want to build relationships and raise their profile.
If you are a Royal Society Research Fellow, you can sign up to our mailing list to hear about upcoming training.
Funding
We offer up to £10,000 to Research Fellows through our Public Engagement Fund. The fund is open to current Royal Society University Research Fellows and Dorothy Hodgkin Fellows who have completed the first year of their fellowship on or before 31 October in the year of application. The next round of application will open in October 2022.
You can read more about the Public Engagement Fund and other projects we've funded or contact us for more information.
Opportunities
We have regular opportunities for Research Fellows to take part in public engagement. Whether it's at regional festivals, through Partnership Grants, judging our book prizes or demonstrating at the Science Museum Lates, there are always ways to get involved.
