This one hour session is designed to help you develop your project plans, communicate them effectively, and apply for grant funding.

Make the most of your engagement and gain insights into the planning process with this information session. Led by engagement trainer and consultant Dr Jamie Gallagher we will look at how to develop your plans, communicate them clearly and explore the evaluation process to be aware of at the start of your project. Whether you are an experienced engagement practitioner or this is your first project the session will help you develop and maximise your plans.
This course is designed for holders of University Research Fellowships, Dorothy Hodgkin Research Fellowships, Sir Henry Dale Fellowships, Newton International Fellowships, and Industry Fellowships. You must be a Royal Society grant recipient to be eligible to attend this course.
This workshop is part of a special 'how to' training series which provides short, virtual training sessions around public engagement and communicating research. The workshop will provide an overview of the application process for public engagement grants and should give you the confidence to apply for grants.
Dr Jamie Gallagher is an award winning engagement trainer and consultant. Working across dozens of institutions and subject areas he has improved the reach, profile and impact of research engagement in almost every academic discipline.
The course fee are covered for Royal Society grant recipients, including the University Research Fellowship, Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship, Sir Henry Dale Fellowship, Newton International Fellowship and Industry Fellowship.
