About the course
In this course, Kimberley Freeman will show you how to identify meaningful engagement aims, develop creative evaluation methods, and identify creative ways to share evaluation findings and create meaningful change - regardless of your sector or academic field.
Utilising evaluation methods which are tailored to the scope and ambition of each project, and to the people involved - you will learn how to weave evaluation into projects and programmes of activity, improving efficiency and avoiding the dreaded post-event evaluation form which no-one fills in.
Who is the tutor?
Kimberley Freeman is Director of the Centre for Public Engagement (CPE) at Queen Mary University, the only institution to hold a Platinum level Engage Watermark from the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE). In addition to leading a sector leading CPE team, she is also a Wellcome Trust Public Engagement Fellow and freelance evaluation trainer and consultant. She has over 10 years’ experience in communications, public engagement, patient involvement, and programme and project evaluation. She has worked with the Royal Society, Medical Research Council, Research intensive universities and funding bodies across the UK and internationally.
