Research Culture workshops: Visions of 2035
Throughout 2017 the Royal Society spoke to over 1000 individuals from across the research community, through 20 events in 15 different locations. Participants included researchers across all career stages in academia, industry and government.
The workshop was designed to engage participants in a conversation about research culture. This allowed the Society to gather ideas about a vision of an ideal future research culture, and how this could be achieved. The first event in the series was run as a full-day conference for ECRs. The insights from this series of workshops has been captured in Research culture: embedding inclusive excellence.
The great success of the workshops has led to the development of an open access pack of resources (see Downloads), which allows individuals to easily run their own workshops, using a simple step-by-step guide.
