S&T Committee (Commons): Human reproductive technologies and the law

In June 2004 the Royal Society submitted a response to an inquiry by the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee into Human Reproductive Technologies and the Law. The Societys response supports the existing Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act (1990) and argues that current developments in research technologies do not require changes to the legislation though developments should be closely followed.
