This statement focuses on the value of the subject-specific aspects of Ofsted’s work and the role of Ofsted in policy. It highlights how the feedback collected in Ofsted's surveys and reports have a much wider reach than just the schools they visit. The reports have proven to impact a much broader audience, which is why there has been a request for them to be produced more frequently.
