President of the Royal Society, Venki Ramakrishnan, has written to the Conservative leadership candidates, urging them to rule out the prospect of a no-deal Brexit.
The letter outlines the damaging impact a no-deal Brexit poses to UK science and says that: "in the interests of a long term vision for a prosperous, outward facing future for the UK, it is time to rule out this eventuality for good".
