The Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition Starts

25 June 2010

Meet the minds behind some of the UK's most exciting scientific advances at the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition. From machine intelligence to green energy, try out the interactive exhibits and question the expert scientists themselves about the discoveries you make

The exhibition is split into three zones – Reveal, Transform and Explore. With something for everyone, visitors can peek inside a volcano and encounter the robot detectives in the Reveal Zone, see shape-shifting structures and take a 3D interactive tour around the birthplace of a new ocean in the Transform Zone and discover what the longest-lived animal is and how insects find their way home in the Explore Zone.

The twenty-seven interactive exhibits presenting the best of the UK’s cutting edge science, engineering and technology are on display at Southbank Centre until 4 July 2010.
