The Royal Society President responds to Financial Times report about further delays to Horizon association

Today’s Financial Times says that the Prime Minister has pushed back the decision on the UK rejoining Horizon until after the summer. The Royal Society’s President, Sir Adrian Smith, responds: 

“This news, if true, will fill the science community with dismay. The basics of the Horizon association deal were put in place two and a half years ago. But still we wait, and the damage done by ongoing uncertainty and further potential delay continues.”
