Emerging infections: what have we learnt from SARS?

13 January 2004 09:00 - 18:00

Organised by Lord May of Oxford OM AC Kt PRS, Dr Angela McLean, Sir John Pattison and Professor Robin Weiss FRS

The outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) last winter is just one of the latest examples. With specific reference to the lessons learned from the recent SARS epidemic, this meeting will also address our general preparedness for future outbreaks of new, emergent infectious agents.
